Mayor of Wildwood Takes Oath of Office – Again

Just 17 months after Ernie Troiano was recalled from office he has reclaimed his seat as mayor of Wildwood.  Former Mayor Gary DeMarzo, who was behind Troiano’s recall in 2009, came in fourth in his re-election bid.  DeMarzo’s support for a city budget with plans to layoff 42 employees, 25 from fire and police, drew the ire of residents.  But some say it was his recent indictment for charges of official misconduct that put them over the edge.
