Clarence Clemons Remembered

By Desiree Taylor

For 40 years, Clarence Clemons has been rocking stages around the world with Bruce Springsteen’s E-Street Band.  His big sax sound and big stature is why he was affectionately known as the Big Man.  Clemons died from complications from a stroke.  He was 69-years-old.  Fans erected a make-shift memorial to Clemons outside the Stone Pony in Asbury Park where he frequently played with Springsteen and the E-Street Band.
