Senate Budget Committee Receives Revenue Update from State Treasurer

For the second day in a row, the treasurer told a legislative panel that revenues are coming in half a billion dollars above expectations.  The number is 900 million according to the Office of Legislative Services.  The Christie administration wants to allocate the additional revenue to the state’s pension system contribution, to increasing  the homestead tax credit, and to building up next year’s surplus.
