By Briana Vannozzi

Lieutenant Governor Kim Guadagno struggled to get through her roughly 15-minute commencement speech to the graduates from William Paterson University.  A group of approximately 100 students and faculty stood and silently turned their backs while she spoke.  Others booed and called out in anger about cuts to higher education.

One Response to Students Demonstrate During Lt. Governor Guadagno’s Commencement Address

Your coverage of this event was disgraceful. Your own report indicated, in passing, that only a tiny fraction of the graduating students tried to shout down the lieutenant governor. Yet your disinterested reporter could not manage to find a single person who disapproved of the attempt to prevent the lieutenant governor from being heard.
