Protesters Call on Christie to Stop Bailing-Out Large Corporations

Protesters rallied against the Christie administration’s decision to give Triple Five 200-million dollars in financing while cutting funding for vital services like public safety and education.  A mock 200-million dollar check was delivered to the New Jersey Economic Development Authority Headquarters.  It was made out to Triple Five, private developers of the stalled Xanadu project in the Meadowlands, and signed Taxpayers of New Jersey.

    If the Xanadu is so important that the Governor feels we should invest in it over our schools and children, i propose that we all take our children on a class trip on this coming Monday instead of the Aquarium, zoo, or the please touch museum etc. Apparently our children will be taught valuable lessons in economics, nepotism………..
