Assembly Budget Committee Hearing: NJSIAA

The New Jersey State Interscholastic Athletic Association, a non-profit organization that governs high school sports, proposed its budget for fiscal year 2011-2012 before the Assembly Budget Committee.  The NJSIAA gets much of its revenue from ticket sales at 32 sports tournaments, ranging from bowling to basketball.  Ticket prices were capped by laws passed last year and the organization says it has become difficult to operate under those restrictions.
