CRDA Unveils Tourism District Plans

 State officials are taking a gamble that the Casino Reinvestment Development Authority’s plans for the revitalization of Atlantic City will generate more economic activity and spur investment in a town that saw casino revenue decline by 27 percent last year.   Susan Ney Thompson heads up the CRDA which will run the new tourism district and have final say on planning and zoning.  Atlantic City officials oppose losing control of development in the district.
