CRDA Considering Changes to Tourism District

As state officials continue to adjust boundaries for the newly created Atlantic City tourism district, city officials are still concerned about local control.  The district would include all of the casinos along the boardwalk though six blocks were left out of the original plan, as well as come of the retail and business district, known as “The Walk.”  Zoning and planning in the district are still a major sticking point with Mayor Lorenzo Langford as the most outspoken critic.
