Rainwater Samples Reveal Radioactive Materials Traced to Japanese Nuclear Reactor

State environmental officials say trace materials from the Japanese nuclear reactor accident have been detected in New Jersey rainwater samples but that the Iodine 131 is not a cause for concern. The news came at a legislative briefing examining how prepared New Jersey is for a problem at one of the state’s four reactors.
