Governor Christie Holds Town Hall in Woodbridge

In 2010, the statewide average property tax bill rose to more than 7,500 dollars, an increase of 4.1 percent over 2009 and the largest increase since 2007.  Governor Christie said that rise was not his doing as it was the state’s last year under the Corzine plan.  Outside the town hall a small clutch of police officers protested the changes Christie wants to make to their pensions.
