Redistricting Commission Holds Public Hearing

Rutgers professor Alan Rosenthal was appointed to the Redistricting Commission as the tie-breaker by Chief Justice Stuart Rabner last week. The Commission is made up of ten political heavyweights, five from each party and now Rosenthal. Rosenthal laid out standards for the process, such as, all districts must be contiguous, compact, and cannot split up municipalities except in Newark and Jersey City.
