Assembly Budget Committee Public Hearing on Health, Human Services, Senior, Family & Children’s Issues

People who are in treatment for addiction and mental illness packed the Assembly Budget Committee public hearing to ask for continued support for programs that have helped them in recovery.  Last year was Governor Christie’s first budget, and many programs were on the chopping block.  The governor has said that making hard choices during his first year in office would put New Jersey ahead of other states facing fiscal difficulties.
