DHSS Schedules Public Hearing on Medical Marijuana Regulations

Over a year ago New Jersey passed a law that would allow patients with certain conditions access to medical marijuana.  Since then the NJ Department of Health and Senior Services, which would regulate the cannabis, has tried to draft the rules.  Patients and advocates testified today that the rules go too far, even restricting the potency of the drug.

  1. The medical cannabis that was prescribed by my doctor has helped me out a lot to cope with my pain. My illness is not going away so I just need to cope with it.
