PA Governor Appoints Six Commissioners Including Himself to DRPA Board

After nominating himself along with five new Pennsylvania commissioners, Governor Corbett and his new appointees were sworn in as members of the Delaware River Port Authority.  Corbett says he will keep an open mind about the troubled agency which has been cited in the past for E-Z pass misuse and providing free tolls and fares for employees.  Recently the agency has instituted 32 reforms.

    Commissions and Authorities need to be turned inside out for any abuses or straying from mandates and it seems we now have the right people in the right places to do just that her in NJ. With the news release yesterday of the federal 200 billion in duplicate services being provided through taxpayer funded programs and services shows that the most egregious abuses are run-a-muck agencies with no accountability.
