Bingo is the type of activity you expect to see in a nursing home. But at New Community Corporation, which operates an extended care center in the heart of Newark, a third of the 150 residents are under the age of sixty. Bingo isn’t usually a favorite thing to do for the younger population. New Community responded by installing a game room complete with a pool table, dart board and skeeball machine.
