Transit Village Initiative Revitalizing Neighborhoods

A study by the New Jersey Association of Realtors has found the State’s 12-year old Transit Village initiative is doing more than promote mass transit. It is also helping to raise residential property values. The research suggests the link between Transit Village designation and higher home prices is a bit sketchy, but researches say, more than anything, the connection underscores the value of strong local political leadership and a thoughtful, workable growth plan.
