2010 Census Trends Show Southern Migration

New Jersey’s overall population grew by 4.5 percent from 2000 to 2010 which is a much smaller rate of growth than some Sunbelt and western states.  As a result, New Jersey will lose a congressional seat.  Gloucester County saw its population swell by more than 13 percent.
