Governor Christie Signs Atlantic City Tourism Bills

Governor Christie has signed two pieces of legislation aimed at modernizing Atlantic City.  The first creates a tourism district.  The second consolidates the various agencies that oversee the city into the Casino Reinvestment Development Authority or CRDA.  Governor Christie called for a state-run tourism district six months ago when the Hanson Commission’s report was released.
