Christa McAuliffe Middle School Students Pay Homage to Space Shuttle Challenger

Twenty-five years ago the world watched the Challenger take flight with the first teacher, Christa McAuliffe, on board.  She was going to teach a lesson from space.  The Challenger exploded 73 seconds into the flight.  Eighth grade students at Christa McAuliffe Middle School in Jackson have been commemorating her legacy with science lessons focusing on the NASA space program.
