The New Jersey Association of School Administrators, a group that represents more than 600 school superintendents, has filed a suit to stop Governor Christie’s plan to cap their salaries. The suit alleges that the salary cap plan is illegal and unconstitutional. The Governor’s office had no comment concerning the lawsuit but supporters of the $175,000 cap, which is what the governor makes, believe it makes sense during tough fiscal times.
