Transportation Trust Fund to Receive Financial Windfall

Governor Christie has revealed an eight billion dollar plan to replenish the state’s transportation trust fund.  Renewing the nearly bankrupt fund is one of the last major obligations remaining to be fulfilled by the Governor in his first year in office.  The money will go towards highway improvements, bridge repair, New Jersey Transit, local road and bridge projects and a 1.3 billion dollar Pulaski Skyway renovation.
