Governor Signs Three Environmental Bills

 Governor Christie travelled to Waretown on the Barnegat Bay today to sign three bills aimed at cutting the run-off blamed for degrading the Bay and causing problems with the jellyfish population.   One of the bills updates soil and sediment controls to reduce the amount of pollutants that run-off from construction sites making it one of the toughest fertilizer bills in the country.  The third bill requires the state Transportation Department to assess, repair and replace storm water basins.
