Coastal Communities Still Digging Out

Three days after the storm many coastal communities are still digging out and wondering why their streets still haven’t been plowed. In Belmar, the town’s main artery, Route 35 was plowed today for the first time. Mayor-elect Matt Doherty says the delay in plowing Route 35 put more strain on his work crews and that budget cuts played a part in the delay.
