September 11 Health Bill Clears Congress

The Zadroga bill, named after New York police detective Jimmy Zadroga, who lived in southern New Jersey and died in 2006 of a respiratory disease that has been attributed to his rescue and recovery work at ground zero, was passed by congress and awaits President Obama’s signature. According to Congressman Bill Pascrell, who co-sponsored the House version, thousands of New Jerseyans will benefit from this bill.
