Investigation of Steroid Use among Police & Fire Personnel

Attorney General Paula Dow is concerned.  A seven-month Star Ledger investigation reveals a Jersey City doctor, now deceased, had run a thriving illegal drug enterprise that supplied anabolic steroids and human growth hormone to hundreds of law enforcement officers and firefighters throughout New Jersey. Now Dow’s office is launching a broad based examination into the problem.  She says she expects when her probe is completed, there will be policy changes.
