Gay Rights at Rutgers University

NJN News Archive: February 3, 1988

 The Rutgers University Gay and Lesbian Alliance appealed to the university’s President Edward Bloustein for equal consideration and protection from harassment as gay students protested the increase in attacks and harassment.  Bloustein responded by forming a committee to address the problem and work towards reducing homophobia and all types of bigotry on the campus.
