Governor Christie announced a compromise has been reached over the medical marijuana regulations which many claimed were too restrictive. Appearing with Assemblyman Reed Gusciora and the Commissioner of Health Dr. Poonam Alaigh, who will be administering the program, Christie is relaxing the number of diseases for which a doctor must certify that all conventional treatments have failed and instead of two cultivation centers and four dispensaries as the administration proposed, the compromise will allow for cultivation and distribution at six.
