Assembly to Vote on Medical Marijuana & Anti-bullying Bills

By Zachary Fink
The NJ state Senate and Assembly passed the Anti-bullying Bill of Rights today.  The bi-partisan legislation passed 72 to 1 with abstentions in the Assembly and 30 to 0 in the Senate.
Medical marijuana rules were deemed too restrictive by the Assembly.  Governor Christie’s proposed rules for the medical marijuana program were considered too restrictive from the limited number of growers (six) for the entire state to the barriers presented to the sick in order to qualify.
