Senate Considers Bills to Reform Casino & Horseracing Industries

Sports betting may be in Atlantic City’s future. A resolution passed by the Senate Economic Growth Committee calls for voters to decide whether to allow gambling on professional sports. But there’s a catch – it is against federal law. About a dozen bills to reform state gaming, both at the casinos and in the horseracing industry are under consideration.
