Governor’s Reform Town Hall Meeting: Washington Township

By Joe Bisicchia
During his reform town hall meeting in Washington Township, Governor Christie announced there will be a letter sent to all county superintendents of schools informing them that there are to be no salary contracts renegotiated above the revised salary cap which goes into effect in February.  Christie cited the effort Parsippany-Troy Hills School Superintendent LeRoy Seitz made to have his contract approved before the revised salary cap goes into effect.  Christie stressed that he would love teachers to be involved in the reform process but that they have to step away from their union.
