Change Coming to the Casino Control Commission

State Senator Jim Whelan, a former mayor of Atlantic City, who chairs the Senate Committee on State Government, Gaming, Tourism and Historic Preservation would like to overhaul casino regulations and limit the Casino Control Commission’s role to only casino licensing. The rest of the Casino Control Commission’s current regulatory powers would go to the Division of Gaming Enforcement under the Executive Branch.
