The Coriell Institute for Medical Research, in Camden, is an internationally-known non-profit institution that is devoted to basic science and cutting edge research. One project is measuring differences in individual personal genomes to see how much one person is different from the next and then using that information in clinical care. Congressman Rob Andrews led the effort that resulted in Coriell receiving fifty-million dollars in federal funding.
