One Response to Holland Tunnel Traffic Delays Expected for Five Years

  1. Anne says:

Our nation’s infrastructure is in terrible shape. Governor Christie believes that the new train tunnels are an unnecessary expenditure and doesn’t seem to care that commuters face longer and longer commute times. Now, commuters face another obstacle to get in and out of New York City with the water installation project.

Our country needs to accept the fact that our infrastructure needs help and fixing or improving it will employ millions of people. The private sector benefits from our national infrastructure yet they don’t believe that they should pay for it. If they did, the corporate giants would spend less money on lobbying for less taxes and start paying for our bridges, tunnels, highway systems, water and sewerage treatment plants, and their delivery systems.
