In New Jersey’s First Congressional District, Congressman Rob Andrews is going for his twelfth term. His republican opponent, Dale Glading is alleging the long time incumbent has been misusing campaign funds. The fiscal and social conservative Glading is founder of a non-profit prison ministry. He is backed by Governor Christie and the Tea Party movement. Glading plans to file a formal complaint with the Federal Election Commission asking them to investigate the congressman’s use of campaign dollars that the republican claims were used improperly for restaurant, limousine, and other non-election services. The Congressman denies that his campaign has done anything improper or illegal. The race between Andrews and Glading is a rematch of 2008 when the incumbent won 72 percent to 26.
