Bill to Toughen Privacy Invasion Laws

Legislators call for tougher privacy invasion laws in the aftermath of Rutgers University student, Tyler Clementi’s, suicide.  State Senator Shirley Turner (D-Mercer) has proposed a bill to make the invasion of privacy offenses a second-degree crime.  At Rutgers lesbian, gay, bi-sexual and transgender groups are concerned that students aren’t getting the help they need.
