Democrats Leery of Savings Figures Given by Plan to Privatize Transportation Services

Democrats accuse the Christie administration of using phantom numbers to describe savings from plans for privatization of transportation services. After completing its findings in May, the Transportation Privatization Task Force concluded that the state could save up to $200 million from privatization of certain transportation services, with $50 million in immediate savings.
