Assembly Budget Committee Holds Hearing On Democrats’ Budget Proposal

The Assembly Budget Committee got off to a late start as last minute modifications to several consent bills were still being ironed out. The Democrats’ budget proposal was released late last night, but for some members of the committee a copy of the draft wasn’t received until about an hour before the hearing. The Republican budget officer took issue with that.
