The Senate is expected to bring up a resolution on Monday to veto Governor Christie’s plan to transfer the operation of NJN over to New York-based WNET. State Treasurer Andrew Sidamon-Eristoff, who has been the Christie administration’s public point man on the NJN transfer, defended the deal by which NJN would be phased out and WNET would take it over. Budget Committee Chairman Paul Sarlo reflected current thinking among Democrats when he asked about another temporary extension for NJN, which is set to expire next week.
Keep NJN in New Jersey!!!
WNET makes its money by using the newspapers, uni’s, etc. to do its work for them.
I don’t expect a real presence in nj.That’s why they get along with few staff.
VETO! VETO! VETO! Let’s send Christie a message with a VETO of his idea.
