Huntsman Announces Presidential Candidacy at Symbolic Setting

Former Utah Governor Jon Huntsman deliberately chose to announce his bid for the Republican presidential nomination on the spot where Ronald Reagan announced in 1980 – in front of the Statue of Liberty.  Americans, he said, feel like the deck is stacked against them now and that opportunities are dwindling.
