Newark Peace Education Summit Draws International Peace Leaders

The three-day Newark Peace Education Summit began this morning in the Brick City. Peace advocate-celebrities, activists, and the Dalai Lama himself will spend much of the next three days taking part in a series of workshops and panel discussions examining “best practices” to create peace.  Community members say Newark, which has been wrought with street violence and bloodshed, needs all the inspiration it can get.
