Senator Codey Calls for Shut Down of Boarding House

State Senator and former Acting Governor Dick Codey says he is disgusted by the living conditions at a Newark boarding house. The state pays a monthly fee to house the mentally ill at the Hills Boarding House. Codey is calling for the state to shut it down especially after the Monday night attack of a female resident.  Furthermore, Codey claims the state has also been housing sex offenders at the facility.  Codey says it is “shameful.”
