Mall of America to Acquire Xanadu Complex

There is a new deal in the works to complete the long-dormant Xanadu retail and entertainment complex at the Meadowlands. Triple Five, the Canadian firm that developed The Mall of America in Minnesota, confirms it has signed a contract with lenders to take over construction. A spokeswoman says they plan to release details on Tuesday. Meanwhile, a published report says the Christie administration was instrumental in brokering the deal, agreeing to provide low-interest financing for the project.
