Ocean County in Litigation over Operating a Homeless Shelter

Attorney Jeffery Wild is representing homeless clients in a lawsuit filed against Ocean County with the intent of forcing officials to open emergency housing. Wild says so far, the county has refused to sit and discuss the matter. County officials issued a statement saying Ocean County spends 20 million dollars a year on the homeless for hotel rooms and other shelter.
