Wildwood Mayor Battling on Two Fronts

Wildwood Mayor Gary DeMarzo is fighting two battles right now – budget shortfalls and criminal charges.  DeMarzo faces official misconduct and conspiracy charges.  He is accused of using city money to pay an attorney for private legal services.  On top of that DeMarzo is seeking re-election in two months.  Wildwood recently went through a devaluation, so DeMarzo, who is also a retired Wildwood police officer, has decided to cut approximately 20 full-time police officers, instead of raising taxes.
