Senate & Assembly Continue to Advance Back to Work NJ Program

Both the Senate and Assembly advanced bills aimed at giving incentives to businesses, such as, tax breaks. The Assembly Budget Committee passed the Corporate Tax Reform, a small business tax cut, and extended the transit hub tax credit among other bills. Meanwhile, the Senate Budget Committee cleared its own slate of bills which included six weeks of government paid on the job training, placing the process of claiming unemployment entirely online and granting additional tax credits to hire new workers.
