12th District Race Overview: Holt v Sipprelle

Congressman Rush Holt says his Republican challenger Scott Sipprelle used his role in a citizen’s advisory committee to boost the value of his home. According to Holt, a Democrat and five-term incumbent, Sipprelle helped draw maps in the Borough of Princeton, and put his own property in a lower tax bracket. Sipprelle says that is absolutely false, the committee played no role in drawing the maps. Meanwhile, Holt won the endorsement of two environmental groups. Sipprelle says he believes in global warming but the jury is still out on what is causing it.
