Trenton Superintendent of Schools on Leave or Ousted

Raymond Broach has been hired by the Trenton Board of Education on an interim basis to replace Trenton Superintendent of Schools Rodney Lofton. Lofton is on a medical leave of absence sparking rumors that the responsibility for the recent financial audit that revealed widespread mismanagement in the district is being placed on Lofton and that his voluntary resignation is imminent. Angry parents and various unions have held a series of protests demanding the dismissal of Lofton and business administrator Jayne Howard after the audit findings were made public.
